Beautiful game.

Charming

Another great entry in the Her Trees series. The art and music continue to be simple, beautiful, and mysterious. The puzzle difficulty was perfect, not too difficult or too easy. I can't wait to see more!

A relaxing game full of entirely visual puzzles - no math, no deduction, just sliding elements around until they suddenly match up and the solution jumps out from nowhere. I beat the game in around two hours of play, using several hints and three "just show me the answer"s for puzzles that I simply didn't understand. None of the puzzles were unreasonable, though - I was simply impatient. A beautiful, clever, chill game that evokes the very best of the flash game era of the early 2000's. Looking forward to the inevitable fourth game of the series :)

Solid! A lot of this game is going to be about trial and error, patiently moving things around until they make sense. You'll get snagged, but take a step back and look at the shapes; you'll figure it out in time. A lot of it is about finding patterns recognizing how the shapes and edges best line up. Overall it's just a very soothing, chill experience to wind down and evening or kill an afternoon. I like what this author does, it's pretty distinct and clever.

Such a fun little game; the sound design, puzzles, it's all very well crafted. Perfect little puzzle game!

Longer, more variations of puzzles and more visual ideas than the previous game. 100% recommend.

Her Trees: Puzzle Dream is a puzzle game, the second of (currently) two such games from this developer. This one is longer than the first game (The Puzzle House) and has a higher price; I bought both games in a bundle with a 10% discount. As with its predecessor, the art style is very minimalist with greyscale sketches and some basic animation, but I quite liked it. Unlike The Puzzle House, this game takes place in different locations including sub-areas within rooms; some other interface and gameplay improvements have been made by the developer, in creditable response to players' comments and suggestions. As before, the most important thing to bear in mind in this game is that, for each puzzle, the aim is to obtain a sequence of letters to input into a 3x3 grid containing the letters A to I. Some puzzles produce the letters directly (e.g. by rearranging parts of the puzzle until letters appear in the gaps or in the overlapping areas); others result in a pathway pattern which has to followed around the letter grid. Each solved puzzle grows a flower/fruit on an initially bare tree outline; the game ends when all branches have a flower/fruit. The puzzles weren't particularly hard, especially having familiarity with the first game, but there is a good incremental hint system which gives increasingly detailed information about how to tackle a puzzle, or how to completely solve it. The game data can be reset from the main menu, allowing the game to be replayed from scratch. My play time (3.5 hours) represents one playthrough. Overall I enjoyed this game and thought it was worth its discounted price.

Such a brilliant concept! It’s amazing how they built such creative and impressive puzzles based on just 9 letters. The art style is beautiful yet haunting, and the soundtrack hits that perfect spot between eerie and soothing. I started playing pretty late—near midnight—and tried to finish it in one sitting, so I actually dozed off a few times! =D The credit part was also very creative and engaging :D It's sad that there were no achievements... I kept clicking on everything like a fool... =D

Really great balance between simple and difficult. Very charming. Definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys paper puzzles, visual creativity, and mental gymnastics. Looking forward to more if that's on the table. <3
